Established in 2021, The Sustainability Assessment Program evaluates and celebrates exhibitors committed to sustainable and socially conscious practices at MAGIC, PROJECT, COTERIE, and SOURCING trade events. The program implements a robust evaluation system and is used as a benchmark for both exhibitors and buyers as to level of sustainable efforts companies are making in their sustainability journey.
As part of the vetting process, Hey Social Good, our third-party verification partner, conducts thorough evaluations of participating brands against the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, including social responsibility, responsible production, ethical practices, and environmental practices.

To qualify for the program, brands must demonstrate meaningful commitment across key sustainability areas:
Based on each brand's give-back and sustainability activities, practices, and efforts, Hey Social Good (HSG) uses a tiered ranking system, recognizing that sustainability is a journey and encouraging all efforts and accomplishments every step of the way.
Each level can earn an "Advanced" designation for exceptional performance within that tier by providing documentation for transparency, going above and beyond standard practices.
A company is creating its sustainability cycle by maintaining a sustainable product and implementing sustainable practices along the life cycle chain.
A company strengthening its sustainability cycle by going beyond the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals of Sustainable Product & Life Cycle Management.
A company established a full circle sustainable pathway along every step of the design to supply to the product life cycle chain, including circularity, consistently and in-depth. Sustainability is an integral part of its DNA, and they work hard to quantify and track its positive impacts over time and inspire others to reduce and improve their environmental footprint.
